i've been trying to get my sorry butt on here to blog. 

sometimes i'm too tired, sometimes i'm too lazy.

sometimes there just isn't anything interesting to talk about. whether i like it or not my life isn't exciting every day. i usually don't do much.

i've been getting on the bike and running my "errands" on that. tuesday i biked to the thrift store and bought two shirts. one to actually wear and the other to make this:

that will definitely be a project.

i also plan to make a "date jar" such as this one:

i know its quite cheesy. but boy and i can never decide what to do. and it gives me something to craft. although, i'll make it a lot less valentine's-day-sie.

i've taken to swimming again. i've only been doing 1000 yards a day. 

but!

i'm getting into the swing of it again. its becoming easier every time i go. i'll probably start swimming more yards from now on.

i get to be a year older on saturday.

the big 2-4.

i can't even rent a car yet. i think thats the next exciting birthday is when you get to rent a car. you can also say you're a quarter of a century old. i don't get to do that yet.

when i was turning 20 i told my parents "nothing exciting happens when you turn 20, so you need to get an exciting present." i ended up with lovely max.

see, 18 you can vote and are "legal"

19 you can buy cigarettes (this was important to me at the time. over a month without one!!!)

21 is when one truly becomes legal and can purchase liquor

after that.... not much.

i guess you just get old after 21
